#2 Ronny Scheer, Opel Calibra V6 4×4 Class 1
Ronny Scheer is changing cars with Stefan Mücke on sunday. As a matter of fact, Scheer is switching over from the Ford Sierra to the Class-1-Opel. The result: second in second qualifying.
#16 Rudolf Schöllhorn, Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse 2008 W204
After saturday´s victory, the sole driver of an Mercedes in the grid took pole position once again. As a consequence, the fist row in the grid will be similar with two class-1-contenders in the first row.
#111 Nico Wittmann, BMW M3 E30
Ninth position in the overall for the sole class 3-entrant in the grid.
#444 Anton Werner, Audi 200 Quattro turbo
After the powersteering failed during the first race on saturday afternoon, the Audi collector did not take part in the second qualifying.
#6 Olaf Manthey, Audi 200 Quattro turbo
5th spot in the overall rankings for the newly-crowned champion,who switched over to the black batmobile, which is normally driven by owner Thomas Wandel. Behind Kris Nissen, Olaf Manthey was classified on second spot in class 2.
#11 Stefan Mücke, Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth
Switching over to the Ford from the Opel Calibra, the turbocharger expired in a substantial amount of smoke. The damage maybe fixed until the second race will be started.
#321 Michael Schneider, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth
After the cylinder head gasket expired, team technician Volker Schneider went back home in order to transport the now white and red spare car to the paddock. His son Michael Schneider is now racing with number #67 in the colour scheme of the 24 hours race at the Nürburgring long circuit back in 1991.
#22 Guido Momm, Ford Mustang GT 5.0
After the repair of a broken oilpump, the original DTM-racecar returned to competition.
#10 René Ruch, BMW M3 E30
A stuck throttle line caused a brief contact with the barrier without further damage. In yesterday´s race, the steering war broken after a brief contact in the very first corner. Before that, the ignition coils had to be changed – a lot of work for the tiny swiss private team.
